Visa Overview

The Czech Republic Schengen Visa allows Filipino travelers to visit the Czech Republic and other Schengen member states for tourism, business, family visits, and other short-stay purposes. This visa grants access to all 26 Schengen countries.

Visa Details

Visa Type: Schengen Visa (Short-Stay)
Purpose of Travel: Tourism, Business, Family Visit, Cultural, Sports, Study
Validity: Up to 90 days within 180-day period

  • Schengen Visa Application Form – Duly completed and signed
  • Passport – Valid for at least 3 months beyond intended stay, with at least 2 blank pages
  • Passport-size Photos – Recent photos meeting Schengen specifications
  • Previous Passports – Old passports showing travel history
  • Cover Letter – Explaining purpose of visit, itinerary, and personal background
  • Proof of Accommodation – Hotel bookings or invitation letter from host
  • Flight Reservation – Round-trip flight booking
  • Detailed Travel Itinerary – Day-by-day plan of activities
  • Travel Medical Insurance – Minimum coverage of €30,000 (see requirements below)
  • Bank Certificate – Accompanied by 6 months bank statement
  • Credit Card Statement – Recent statements (if applicable)
  • Proof of Employment:
    • Certificate of Employment with salary and position
    • Income Tax Return (ITR)
    • Business documents if self-employed (DTI/SEC, Mayor’s Permit)
  • Proof of Properties – Land titles, condominium titles, car registration (if applicable)
  • PSA Birth Certificate
  • PSA Marriage Certificate (if married)
  • For Minors:
    • PSA Birth Certificate
    • School ID/Certificate of Enrollment
    • Parental Consent/DSWD Clearance if traveling without parents

Your travel insurance must meet these criteria:

  • Minimum coverage of €30,000
  • Valid for all Schengen countries
  • Cover medical emergencies and repatriation
  • Valid for entire duration of stay plus extra days

  • Personal introduction and travel purpose
  • Detailed travel itinerary with dates
  • Proof of financial capacity
  • Strong ties to the Philippines (employment, family, property)
  • Declaration of intent to return
  1. Gather documents – Collect all required documents listed above
  2. Book appointment – Schedule via VFS Global or Czech Embassy
  3. Submit application – Present documents and provide biometrics
  4. Pay fees – Pay visa fee and service charges
  5. Wait for processing – Processing typically takes 15-30 days
  6. Collect passport – Pick up your passport with visa decision

Visa Fee

Short-Term Schengen Visa (Type C): ₱11,500

Service fees for VFS Global and other processing charges are additional. Visa fee is non-refundable if visa is refused.
