Trip itinerary

Our first stop is Cambridge. We will explore the famous colleges, then we can enjoy punting along the river in traditional style, Explore the magnificent building of Chatsworth House. head out into the spectacular gardens, wander the miles of pathways, visit the iconic Cascade Fountain, and then get lost in the hedge maze. Proceed to walled City of York with its huge 13th-century Gothic cathedral York Minster, Enjoy walking to the oldest street of Shambles with overhanging timber-framed buildings. It has been described as the finest street in Europe.

Whitby to be more famous than Captain Cook but perhaps it’s most famous resident isn’t actually living at all. Brahms Stoker set his classic horror novel ‘Dracula’ in this pretty little town and you can follow in the steps of the famous Vampire by walking up the steps to the ruined Whitby Abbey that dominates the skyline above Whitby. Admire the elegant Georgian architecture in the New Town and amble through the hidden passages of the Old Town before enjoying an evening at leisure.

Visit Blair Athol Distillery stands at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands in the picturesque town of Pitlochry, the Allt Dour ancient source of water flows through the grounds from the slopes of Ben Vrackie, contributing to the whisky’s, mellow quality and smooth finish. then we continue our journey to Urquhart Castle situated on the bank of Loch Ness in the Highlands of Scotland, home of the famous Loch Ness Monster. While in Glencoe, set in one of the most stunningly beautiful yet hauntingly emotive areas Glencoe is well known for the Massacre of the MacDonald Clan in 1692. Experience the Mountains, Lochs, and Glens of the beautiful Trossachs, and see Loch Lomond, considered by many to be the bonniest in Scotland. Overnight at Belfast.

Discover two of Northern Ireland’s top attractions with ease on this day trip to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Giant's Causeway from Dublin. Get your cameras ready for the famous Giant’s Causeway. Legend has it that the causeway was built by an Irish giant named Finn McCool so that he could challenge his Scottish rival Benandonner to a battle. Next stop is Dunluce Castle one of the most picturesque and romantic of Irish Castles. The ruins of the 16th-century castle served as the House of Greyjoy in "Game of Thrones." Next stop is Derry/Londonderry. Northern Ireland’s second-largest city has a lot to offer from culture to art and historic city walls. Overnight in Ballina

Heading out from Ballina, we make our way to Galway, joining up with the famous Wild Atlantic Way - the longest coastal drive in the world, and probably the most scenic! Then we continue in Galway in the early afternoon. Enjoy the time in this arty, bohemian city that boasts a vibrant ambience, thanks to its large student population. Next, it’s time to travel on through the county of Limerick to the iconic Cliffs of Moher. These incredible cliffs rise over 200 metres from the frothing ocean below, and the views on a clear day are breathtaking. Making our way up the ‘Wild Atlantic Way’, the first stop is Adare; often called Ireland’s prettiest village - catch a glimpse of the perfectly-preserved thatch cottages. Finally, arrive in Killarney for the night.

Leaving Killarney behind, travel onwards to the famous Blarney Castle for an included visit, where you can kiss the Blarney Stone and hopefully gain the ‘gift of the gab.’ Built nearly 600 years ago by one of Ireland’s most famous chieftains, Blarney Castle is one of Ireland’s most famous attractions. Next up, it’s time to travel to Waterford; the oldest city in Ireland! Founded by Vikings in 914 AD, Waterford has a fascinating history and rich maritime tradition, and is also famous for its cut crystal glass.

A day in the city of Dublin! The Whiskey & Guinness optional excursion includes a visit to the iconic Guinness Storehouse to see how this famous dark beer is made. Take a trip back in time as you discover the most famous people and events in Irish history during the “Ireland’s Identity” optional excursion. Visit the National Museums of Ireland, walk along the South Wall, and visit the city’s most famous park; St Stephen’s Green. There’s also the option to enjoy a taste of traditional Irish music!
